There was a time in my life where I got bored with food. Don’t get me wrong, I love cooking those traditional meals I grew up on. Let’s be honest though, some of our favorite dishes aren’t the healthiest.

So, on my journey to seeking different recipes I discovered something called Keto Dieting…

As I educated myself more about Ketogenic Dieting, I found that it was a way of life. It was more than a “diet.”

The ketogenic diet is a low carb, low protein, and high fat diet which puts the body into a metabolic state known as ketosis.

When you’re body is in a state of ketosis, the liver produces ketones. which become the main energy source for the body.

Ketones, also known as “ketone bodies,” are byproducts of the body breaking down fat for energy that occurs when carbohydrate intake is low.

I know right! Who knew? Maybe you did, but I didn’t at the time.

So the most important and effective information I found was that maintaining a Keto lifestyle will literally allow you to eat anything you want, while teaching your body to store fats properly.

If your metabolism is already high (like a lot of people I know), that’s fine too. This will help create a greater balance by incorporating meals to suit your speed.

I’d highly reccomend this book, it’s helpful. Having a healthy balance in a key factor in your Holistic journey.

How Can You Utilize Holism in 2018?

Yes, we live in a busy world where most of us are always working. We strive hard to reach our goals, and sometimes we look back and wonder where the time has gone. If you have children, lack of time with them can impact you even more, causing feelings of void, wishing you could go back in time to change your schedule.

Well, the good news is, if you don’t feel whole today, there a few things you can do that will help you start your holistic journey. Here they are:

1) For 5 minutes today…

Sit and think about how whole you feel on a scale from 1-10

This will help you determine where you stand as far as being whole. It’s best to write this down. Your brain needs to phisically see this number, and you need to be one with the number you are reading. This creates synchronicity with your mind, body, and soul.

2) Write down what you feel is keeping you from being a whole 10…

If you already feel whole, here is a time to jot down any goals you have not accomplished yet. Really try to dig deep and get to the root of what is keeping you from these goals you desire.

3) Accept where you are and understand you are exactly where you need to be…

A major part of living a holistic life is that no matter where you are on your journey there is always room for improvement.

The fact that you are seeking more is the Universes way of letting you know, although you are already great, you are not living up to your fullest potential. Start living your best wholesome life today. It’s never too late.
